Budda-Jitja is a computer-based pre-employment training program designed to assist employers with employing, retaining and integrating Indigenous staff into their workplace.
Literally meaning “Brother, Sister”, the program was designed specifically for Indigenous people, by Indigenous mentors, to teach the skills required for working life.
Each interactive module uses animated Indigenous characters and vernacular to cover a range of skills from overcoming cultural barriers to basic workplace literacy and numeracy.
The Budda-Jitja Employer module provides guidance on employing Indigenous people, to improve communication and retention in the workplace.
